Name Badges & Signs
We manufacture many types of name badges to suite your requirements from Metal Etched badges, Printed Plastic Badges, Engraved Badges, Label Badges, Button Badges, Multifit Badges.
We provide laser cutting and engraving for processing different materials. We cut, engrave and mark wood, paper, metal, acrylic, leather, stone, plastics and many more. Badger also specializes in acid etching onto stainless steel, brass and aluminium.
Perspex is a great option for inside or outside signage and can be cut in any shape or size.
Chromadeck can be screened or a sticker can be applied.
It is also a more affordable signage option and is ideal for temporary signage.

Etching & Engraving
Etching and engraving techniques are long term solutions for branding without deterioration over time whether it be badges, plaques or signage.
Etching is done with Ferric Chloride acid after exposing the metal with an image. Badger specializes in acid etching onto stainless steel, brass and aluminium.
Engraving is done via our laser machines. We provide laser cutting and engraving onto various materials. We cut or engrave onto wood, paper, metal, acrylic, leather, stone, plastics and many more.

Our History
Badger was born in 1996 and started off supplying name badges to the city of Durban from a small factory premises in Glen Anil. Over time consistency, great service and an excellent product enabled Badger to become a well-known “old faithful” supplier of Name Badges and Signage.
A change in focus from signage to a more specialized field in point of sale products for the retail industry over the next 10 years saw Badger grow in leaps and bounds.
Today Badger’s range of services includes acid etching, acrylic bending and laser cutting and engraving.
